Bentonite is a swellable clay waterproofing compound that is glued or nailed in strips into construction joints. Known as a hydrophilic waterstop system, bentonite expands up to sixteen times its dry volume when it comes into contact with water, forming a compression seal in concrete joints. Bentonite's ability to swell enables it to fill small cracks and voids in concrete, preventing the ingress of water around joints. And since clay is a natural material, bentonite is a popular waterstop choice for potable water applications.

How to use vulcanized expansion ?

1) It is necessary to paste the construction joint for fixing the vulcanized product type expansion  The interface of the post pouring joint shall be kept dry and flat. The scum, dust and other objects on the interface shall be cleaned before the construction of 

2) After the installation position of vulcanized expansion Water Stop Strip is determined, apply a thin layer of adhesive on the interface where the  needs to be placed and the bottom surface of the Water Stop Strip, and paste it after the mucus volatilizes for a period of time, or fix the Water Stop Strip at the installation position with anchor nails.
