High-damping bridge bearings are special bearings used to enhance the seismic performance of bridges. Features
1.High-damping bridge bearings are composed of alternating layers of natural rubber filled with rubber and reinforced steel plates. These rubber layers provide period extension and energy dissipation, while the steel plates enhance the vertical load-bearing capacity.

2.They can effectively isolate seismic energy, reducing the damage to bridge structures caused by earthquakes, and have demonstrated good performance in several major earthquakes.

3.These bearings are designed to withstand compressive loads caused by the self-weight and live loads of the bridge, as well as horizontal loads induced by earthquakes and/or wind.
