The inflatable rubber airbag is built from high-tenacity nylon cord rubber and an air-tight layer vulcanized into one unit; once inflated it expands rapidly to form a cylindrical or spherical load-bearing body that can seal, lift or support instantly inside pipes, culverts or compartments. A quick air valve and high-pressure coupling allow a single operator to inflate or deflate the inflatable rubber airbag within 3 minutes; after deflation its volume shrinks 90%, so it can be removed easily without damaging contact surfaces, making it the ideal tool for municipal emergency repair, shipbuilding and bridge jacking.

To suit different media, the outer layer of the inflatable rubber airbag can be oil-resistant, acid/alkali-resistant or ozone-resistant, and an anti-abrasion sleeve is added to withstand 0.2 MPa working pressure with a burst safety factor ≥4. It maintains high elasticity and sealing from -40 ℃ to +80 ℃ and can be reused for more than 500 cycles with a service life up to 10 years.
