Product Description
High damping rubber bearing (HDR bearing) is laminated with multi-layer high-damping rubber and steel plates via hot vulcanization, integrating vertical load-bearing, horizontal recentering and energy dissipation functions. Its equivalent damping ratio reaches 12%–20%, 2–4 times that of ordinary rubber bearings. It dissipates seismic energy through rubber shear deformation, extending structural natural period and reducing seismic response effectively. Featuring aging and temperature resistance (-40℃ to 60℃), it has less than 2% damping ratio degradation in 50 years, requiring no additional damping devices and lowering maintenance costs.
With high vertical bearing capacity and large horizontal displacement adaptability (design displacement ±150mm), it exhibits minimal residual deformation after strong earthquakes and requires no replacement. Available in circular and rectangular shapes, it suits highway, railway, municipal bridges and building isolation projects. Easy to install by direct anchoring, it is widely used in bridges, large hubs and key projects in high-seismic zones, serving as an eco-friendly and efficient alternative to lead-core bearings.
