The Sliding Friction Pendulum Bearing (FPB) is a 3-D seismic isolation bearing that combines spherical sliding with friction energy-dissipation.
By converting earthquake energy into heat and elongating the structural period, FPB greatly reduces super-structure acceleration. It is ideal for bridges, urban interchanges, high-speed railways, public buildings, LNG tanks, nuclear power stations, or any critical project that demands the highest seismic safety.
