Bridge bearing is the critical load-transfer element that connects the superstructure to the substructure, safely carrying vehicle, pedestrian and dead loads into the foundation while releasing thermal, shrinkage and seismic movements. Modern bridge bearings are manufactured by hot-vulcanizing multi-layer natural rubber with steel plates to form highly elastic and damped elastomeric bearings, or by inserting PTFE sheets into sliding surfaces to create sliding bearings with friction coefficient ≤0.03, ensuring the bridge remains safe, quiet and durable between -50 °C and +60 °C.

Designed in strict accordance with JT/T 4, GB/T 20688 and EN 1337, every bridge bearing undergoes 2 million fatigue compression-shear cycles and is available in vertical capacities from 100 kN to 60 000 kN, satisfying complex force demands of skew, curved, graded and long-span continuous girder bridges. Each bearing is 100 % visually and load inspected before shipping and carries a traceable QR code for digital life-cycle management, offering reliable support for century-long bridges.
