The Seismic Isolation Rubber Bearing is an advanced structural component widely used in buildings and bridges to mitigate the destructive effects of earthquakes, strong winds, and other dynamic loads on structures. This product is manufactured by alternately laminating thin steel plates and rubber layers, bonded together through high-temperature and high-pressure vulcanization. Its core principle is to effectively dissipate seismic energy by extending the structure's natural vibration period and increasing damping, thereby significantly reducing the seismic force transferred to the upper structure (isolating approximately 80% of the seismic force). This greatly enhances the structural seismic performance, protecting buildings and ensuring human safety.

Material

    The bearing primarily uses Natural Rubber (NR) or specially formulated synthetic rubber (such as high-damping rubber). Internal thin steel plates serve as reinforcement skeletons to provide sufficient vertical stiffness and load-bearing capacity. Some models (e.g., lead-rubber bearings) incorporate a pure lead core plug at the center to offer higher damping and initial stiffness.
