Rubber Inflated Culvert Balloon for Hollow Slabs

    The rubber inflated culvert balloon, also known as the bridge inflatable core mold, is an expandable and contractible cylindrical bag made of rubber with a fiber-reinforced layer, featuring excellent tensile strength, elasticity, and air-tightness. It is primarily used to form cavities in concrete components.

When manufacturing hollow components, the inflatable core mold is placed in the middle of the component and is expanded by injecting compressed air.     The inflated core mold can withstand the pressure of concrete, thus effectively replacing traditional wooden, bamboo, and steel molds. When in use, simply open the valve, and the airbag will deflate, making it easy to remove from the cavity.

    *Main Rubber Material: Primarily uses Natural Rubber or high-quality blends of natural and synthetic rubber, ensuring high elasticity, excellent air tightness, and good durability.
    *Reinforcement Layer: Incorporates a high-strength fiber skeleton material, such as nylon cord or anti-stretch fabric, bonded to the rubber through a hot-press vulcanization process, giving the airbag high tensile strength and pressure resistance.
    *Manufacturing Process: Utilizes integral winding or seamless special anti-burst production processes, resulting in a smooth bag body that is wear-resistant, aging-resistant.

1.Forming Core: Inflates to form the pre-set cavities in concrete components, such as circular, oval, octagonal shapes, etc.
2.Supporting Concrete: Possesses sufficient strength after inflation to reliably support the lateral pressure and self-weight of fluid concrete during pouring, preventing deformation.
3.Easy Demolding: After the concrete initially sets, it deflates and contracts, reducing in volume, allowing it to be easily pulled out from the component, simplifying the demolding process.
4.Reusable: Designed for durability, under normal use and maintenance conditions, a single product can typically be reused multiple times (e.g., dozens to hundreds of times), offering significant economy.

Production Process

The production process of rubber inflated culvert balloon is divided into two types: cold bonding process and hot pressing vulcanization process.

    *The cold bonding process involves first processing the raw materials into sheets (or purchasing finished rubber sheets), then cutting them into corresponding pieces according to the shape of the inflatable core mold, and finally adhering them together with adhesive to form the inflatable core mold.
    *The hot-press vulcanization process involves directly vulcanizing natural rubber under heat and pressure, combined with anti-tear fabric, to form the specified shape of the inflatable core mold in a single molding process without any seams.
